What I can do

  • Prepare reliable and accurate monthly financial statement preparation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including thorough analysis of variances between actual results and budgeted results
  • Process payroll, accounts payable and other day-to-day bookkeeping tasks
  • Develop an overhead allocation system to ensure expenses are accurately allocated to programs
  • Perform financial analysis/evaluation of proposals/contracts
  • Prepare and/or review grant proposal budgets & manage restricted funds
  • Present to board of directors/finance committees
  • Develop accounting/general ledger systems
  • Facilitate/coordinate your annual budget process
  • Coordinate the annual 990 tax return
  • Manage your annual audit conducted by external auditors
  • Analyze/monitor your cash position, including production of cash forecasts
  • Evaluate/develop internal control procedures to minimize risk of fraud
  • Support the fundraising efforts of your organization by collaborating with the  fundraising team to develop useful, timely revenue reporting and analysis
